Overview

Aquasub Engineering is the flagship company of AQUA GROUP, based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The group states a 50-year heritage in the pump industry. It has six divisions with a built-up area of 40,070 sq. m, and a workforce of over 800.

In-house facilities include a captive foundry producing ferrous and non-ferrous castings, and a captive stamping unit for electrical laminations. A stainless steel unit has its own tool room for tooling for stainless steel components. Stainless steel components are fabricated in-house from sheets and coils, using shearing, punching, forming and welding.

Product development uses 3D CAD systems. The group lists 4-inch and 6-inch stainless steel pumps, 4-inch stainless steel/polymer submersible pumps and submersible motors, in 50 Hz and 60 Hz ranges. It exports, and its stainless steel hydraulic components go to a European pump manufacturer.
