Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using forUdyog, including browsing the public website, creating an account or submitting a sourcing request, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service.

If you are using forUdyog on behalf of a business or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation, and "you" means both you and that organisation.

2. What forUdyog is

forUdyog helps businesses find and connect with manufacturers, suppliers and service providers. The service includes discovery of companies, services and categories, information about exhibitions and their exhibitors, the ability to submit requests for quotation, and member features such as saved lists.

forUdyog is a discovery and networking platform. We are not the manufacturer, supplier or seller of the products and services listed by other businesses on the platform, and we are not a party to any contract you enter into with them unless we tell you otherwise in writing.

3. Your account

You must give accurate and current information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that takes place through your account and for keeping your access to it secure, including the e-mail account or Google account you use to sign in.

Accounts are for business and professional use. Do not share your account with others, and tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your authorisation.

We may decline to provide, or may stop providing, the service to any person or organisation, at our discretion and in accordance with these terms.

4. Signing in

You can sign in with a one-time code sent to your e-mail address, or with Google Sign-In. These providers verify who you are so that we can give you access to your account.

Using an authentication provider does not make that provider a party to these terms, or to any dealing between you and another business on the platform. What we receive through Google Sign-In, and what we do with it, is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Directory and listing information

Information about companies, services, products, exhibitions and exhibitors on forUdyog may come from those organisations themselves, from exhibition organisers, from public and business sources, or from contributors to the platform. It changes over time and may be incomplete or out of date.

We make reasonable efforts to present useful and well-organised information, and where a listing is marked as verified that reflects checks our platform has actually carried out. We do not, however, represent that every listing has been independently audited, or that any capability, certification, price, quantity, lead time or availability shown is accurate or current.

Before you make a purchasing or business decision you must satisfy yourself, independently, about the other party and about the suitability of what they offer, including their capabilities, certifications, quality, pricing, availability and contractual terms.

6. Requests for quotation

When you submit a request for quotation you authorise us to process it for the purpose of sourcing and obtaining quotations, and to share the relevant details and attachments with manufacturers, suppliers and service providers we consider appropriate to your request.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that you will receive a quotation, or that any particular business will respond. A quotation you receive is an invitation to discuss and does not by itself create an order, a contract or any binding commitment; any order arises only if you and the other party complete the applicable commercial process between you.

Whether a product or specification is suitable for your purpose remains subject to technical and commercial confirmation between you and the supplying business.

Do not include information in a request that you are not willing for us to share for that purpose.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the information, files, specifications, drawings, images and documents you submit to forUdyog, and of any intellectual property in them. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce and transmit that material only so far as is necessary to operate the service and to act on your request, including sharing it as described in section 6. The licence lasts as long as we need it for those purposes.

You confirm that you have the right to give us the material you submit, and that our using it as described here will not infringe anyone else's rights.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use forUdyog for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
• impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your association with one;
• provide false, misleading or fraudulent information;
• scrape, crawl, harvest or otherwise extract data in bulk from the platform, by any means;
• circumvent, disable or attempt to defeat access controls, entitlement limits, quotas or security measures;
• upload malicious code, or files intended to damage or gain unauthorised access to any system;
• probe, attack, overload or otherwise interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on;
• misuse contact information obtained through the platform, including for spam or unsolicited bulk messaging;
• infringe the intellectual property, confidentiality or privacy rights of others;
• harass, threaten or abuse other users or businesses.

We may investigate suspected breaches and take the steps we consider appropriate, including restricting or ending access.

9. Intellectual property

The forUdyog website and application, including its software, design, text, graphics, arrangement and compilation of data, and the rights in them, belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by law. Trade marks, names and logos appearing on the platform belong to their respective owners.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to access and use the service for your internal business purposes in accordance with these terms. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or create derivative works from the platform or its contents except as the law permits or we agree in writing.

10. Other businesses and third-party services

forUdyog may link to, or let you interact with, websites and services operated by other organisations. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, products, services, terms or privacy practices. Your dealings with any other business you find through forUdyog, including any contract, payment, delivery or dispute, are between you and that business.

11. Charges and paid features

Our pricing page displays plans and prices. Using forUdyog does not require payment: you can search the directories, view company and service profiles and send a sourcing request without taking a paid plan.

You are never charged for anything on forUdyog unless you have first been shown the price, the applicable taxes, the billing period and the renewal and cancellation terms, and have expressly confirmed them. Selecting a plan on the pricing page is not that confirmation; it only takes you into your account area.

Some features may in future be offered under paid plans or on transaction terms. Where a charge applies, the price, applicable taxes, billing period, renewal and cancellation conditions will be shown to you before you commit to it, and you will have the opportunity to decline. Where payments are taken, they will be processed by a payment provider; we do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank credentials.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to forUdyog, in whole or in part, if you breach these terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the service, other users or third parties.

You may stop using forUdyog at any time, and you may ask us to close your account using the contact details at the end of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including those on content licences, acceptable use, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law, continue to apply.

13. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep forUdyog available and functioning, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free or free of interruption for maintenance. We may change, add to or withdraw features, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the service.

14. Disclaimers

Except as these terms expressly state, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, forUdyog is provided "as is" and "as available", and we give no warranties, conditions or representations of any kind, whether express or implied, about the service or about any information, listing, business or quotation accessed through it.

In particular, and without limiting section 5, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or currency of directory or listing information, the quality, capability, certification or conduct of any business listed, or that any request for quotation will produce a response or a satisfactory outcome.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or protection you have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of forUdyog, however caused.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, products, services or content of any other business you find, contact or transact with through the platform.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, from your misuse of the service, or from material you submit that infringes the rights of another person.

17. Governing law

These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter or their formation, are governed by the laws of India.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and where the change is significant we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention. Continuing to use forUdyog after an update means you accept the updated terms.
