Overview
Arris Tooling makes standard tool holders and high-precision HSK tooling. It also makes hydro grip (hydraulic expansion), shrink-fit and die and mould chuck tooling at its factory in Pardi, Rajkot, Gujarat. The company sells through a dealer network across India and exports to customers in Europe, the USA and Asian countries.
The company began in 2008 as a CNC machine shop for auto components. It started making CNC turning tools in 2012 and VMC spindle tool holders in 2014. It developed a high-precision Hydrogrip adaptor in 2018. In 2023 it expanded the factory space and machines about tenfold.
The facility has a laboratory, a tooling shop, a forging facility and a machine shop. It has CNC turning, CBN turning and 4th/5th-axis VMCs. Taper grinding is done on Studer external and internal grinders, and each holder's taper-shank-to-bore runout is checked on an air gauge. Holders are dynamically balanced on HAIMER machines.
