Overview

Cab Device Industries makes machinery for wire and cable producers and trades under the name "Cable Device". Its main products are wire annealing machines, tin coating plants (electroplating and hot dip) and induction preheaters. These come in different types to suit the application, for makers of domestic wire, super enamel wire, submersible winding wire, instrumentation wire, control cable, communication cable, rubber cable and power cable.

The company was established in 1992 with the aim of building locally the imported cable and wire machinery then in use. It is led by its founder, who worked in the wire and cable industry on production, quality, maintenance and commissioning, including on imported German, Austrian and Italian machines, before starting to build special-purpose machines.

The company supplies machines in India and abroad, including the UK, Gulf countries, Bangladesh, Nepal and several African countries. Machined parts are made in-house at its Faridabad engineering unit. It offers customisation to customer requirements, a field service team, and spares and service support for the life of the machine.
