Overview
It designs and builds CNC cutting systems, welding and cladding automation, robot linear tracks (7th axis) and gantries. It also builds welding special-purpose machines. The works is at MIDC Taloja.
Structure, motion, bevelling and rotator assemblies, tracks, carriages and positioners are designed and fabricated in-house. Robots from ABB, Yaskawa, FANUC and KUKA are integrated on Drupe tracks and gantries. Plasma cutting uses Hypertherm or Kjellberg power sources. PLC and HMI software for the gantries and welding systems is written by Drupe.
Drupe provides specification, installation, commissioning, operator training and after-sales support. It serves heavy fabrication, pressure vessels, oil and gas, shipbuilding, railways and rolling stock, automobiles and pre-engineered buildings. It states a standard cutting gantry ships in 7 to 8 weeks ex-works.
