Overview

Electronica HiTech Machine Tools Pvt Ltd (EHMTPL) is part of SRP Electronica Group. It manufactures turning centres, EDM and wire-cut EDM machines. It also sources imported machine tools for the Indian market and offers end-to-end solutions, choosing products to suit the customer's application and supplying the related auxiliary equipment.

The group began imported machine sourcing in 1983. It started working with Hartford and Doosan in 1995 and with Proth in 1996. It began trading CNC metal forming machines in 2004 and formed a separate group company for metal cutting and forming lines in 2007. It tied up with Yawei for sheet-metal machines in 2009 and with Okuma (Japan) and Fermat (Czech Republic, heavy-duty boring machines) in 2010. It relaunched its own CNC lathes with in-house manufacturing in 2012 and started making WEDM and EDM machines in 2014.

Customer support includes a ready stock of spares to limit machine downtime, and the company has used a CRM system for customer support since 2011.
