FAULHABER
High-precision miniature and micro drive systems from a single source
Overview
FAULHABER, founded in 1947, supplies high-precision miniature and micro drive systems. Its range covers DC motors, brushless DC motors, linear motors and stepper motors. Matching precision gearheads, encoders, linear components and drive electronics complete the drive system.
Drives are offered as standard, modified or custom solutions. Typical modifications include different voltages, cables and connectors, shaft changes, extended temperature range, vacuum compatibility and versions for high speed or high load. The company developed and patented the self-supporting, ironless skew-wound rotor coil (the FAULHABER winding) in 1958.
The products are used in aerospace and aviation, industry and automation, laboratory automation, medical technology, metrology and testing, motorized handheld devices, optics and robotics. The FAULHABER GROUP has two divisions: FAULHABER Drive Systems, headquartered in Germany, and the Swiss company Micro Precision Systems (MPS). FAULHABER is represented in more than 30 countries through application engineers and representatives.
