Overview

Fuji Electric has served the Indian market since 1985, first through joint ventures making instrumentation and UPS products. Fuji Electric India Pvt. Ltd. was set up in 2009 as a 100% subsidiary of the Fuji Electric Group. In 2019 it acquired Consul Neowatt, described as the largest Indian UPS company.

The company has multiple manufacturing facilities in Chennai and Pune and describes more than 1,000 employees, 2 R&D centres (Pune for UPS, solar inverters and active harmonic filters; Chennai for AC drive firmware) and 18+ sales locations. It reports adding over 150,000 sq.ft. of manufacturing space for UPS, AC drives and instrumentation.

Its Energy range covers line-interactive, single-phase and three-phase UPS, solar inverters, servo voltage stabilizers, isolation transformers, active harmonic filters, static transfer switches and PDUs. The Automation range covers AC drives, servo systems, PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, process automation, electrical distribution and control products, and power semiconductors. A service network of 400+ engineers in 80+ locations supports both ranges.
