Overview

German Tech Precision Co., Ltd. (GTP) is a Taiwanese company in Taichung that makes key components for machine tools. Its main product is the GTP-2G two-speed spindle gearbox. A planetary reduction stage lets the motor run at reduced speed for high torque, or at direct speed for finishing. The gearbox is designed for low backlash, low vibration and low noise.

The gearbox is built in a modular way, with adapters to fit different motor brands. Output versions include standard flange, inline, shaft and coolant-through-spindle, plus special combinations and a flange input.
