Overview

GI India Automation & Systems Pvt. Ltd. (GIIAS) is a Pune-based industrial automation company with a branch and manufacturing facility in Kochi. It was formed in 1998 as a move from industrial trading into building low-cost automation systems, and became a private limited company in 2006.

The company designs, manufactures and integrates customised systems for robotic machine tending, material handling and conveyors, CNC machine interfacing, vision inspection and EV battery pack assembly. Its robotic projects are turnkey: application study, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic design, end-of-arm tooling, PLC and robot programming, and cycle-time optimisation.

In 2024-25 it developed its own CNC autoloader, a 3-axis robot for machine tending, palletising and stack/de-stack work. In 2025 it moved its Pune workshop to a new facility near Gogalwadi with about 12,000 sq. ft. of built-up shop area. The workshop has milling, DRO machining, welding, plasma/gas cutting and CNC laser cutting equipment.
