Overview

HTL Co. India Pvt. Ltd. was established in 2012 as a wholly owned subsidiary of HTL Co. Japan Ltd. The head office is in Bangalore and there is a branch office in Kolkata. The company supplies and services semiconductor and flat panel display equipment, including mask writers, lithography tools, mask inspection and repair systems, ALD, additive manufacturing equipment and other instrumentation.

The Bangalore building houses software and hardware divisions and a semiconductor cleanroom with a photolithography mask writer. The company also offers distribution, annual maintenance contracts (AMC), spare parts assistance and technical support coordinated with OEMs and partners.

A software division in Bangalore and Kolkata develops software for inspection, repair and lithography equipment, mainly for Japanese clients, along with image processing, embedded control, supervisory systems and AI-based defect classification. A training and education division runs photomask and lithography training and internships for graduates. The company has signed MoUs with academic institutions, including MAHE and JSS AHER.
