Kailash Rubber Industries was established in 1998 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It moulds, coats, lines and extrudes rubber. It is known for dam gate rubber seals sold under the KRI brand and for rubber seal rings and gaskets for plastic pipe joints.
The company makes its own rubber compounds from natural rubber, nitrile, neoprene, EPDM, Hypalon, butyl, polyurethane, silicone and Viton. It designs and makes prototype and production moulds and dies in-house. It also supplies printing rubber rollers for offset, gravure, flexo, tin printing, textile printing and lamination machines.
Quality checks are done in an in-house laboratory with a computerised tensile testing machine, a hot air oven, hardness testers and a DIN abrasion tester. Special tests can be arranged at government or private laboratories.
