Lakshmi Vacuum Group is based in Bengaluru and started in 2003 as a vacuum heat treatment service. Industrial vacuum furnaces are made through Lakshmi Vacuum Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The group also provides commercial vacuum heat treatment, spares, service and AMC, and thermocouple manufacturing and calibration.
The furnace range has 14 product lines, built at the Bengaluru works. They cover vacuum brazing, sintering, hardening, degassing, carburizing and melting furnaces, ovens, autoclaves, thermo-vacuum simulation chambers, hot presses, low-pressure nitriding, strip casting, pack aluminizing and rare earth magnetic material processing equipment. Furnaces are built to order, with customised working area, hot zone, quench pressure and controls, and are supplied turnkey with installation and commissioning.
Vacuum heat treatment is offered through nine centres across India. The company says it has delivered 450+ furnaces to customers in 9+ countries. Its customers include aerospace, automotive, tooling and die, medical implant, powder metallurgy and research users.
