LANG LASER-System GmbH of Ummendorf, Germany develops and builds laser systems for industrial material processing. Its main markets are the packaging, folding-box and paper industries and security technology. The company says it has worked in industrial laser material processing for over 25 years.

The FlexLas range covers laser scoring in web direction and cross web, controlled perforation, window cutting and pouch easy-open scoring. Related products include a winder with integrated lasers (LasWinder 400), the CartoLas system for folding boxes, LaserLine subsystems, and process monitoring modules (LavisControl, PerfControl).

The company also offers technical support, a training programme, laser process development and contract laser finishing. It states that it supplied its first laser system to a packaging manufacturer in Switzerland in 1995.
