Overview

Meiban Engineering Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was started in Bangalore in 2004 together with Muratec. It supplies and services sheet-metal machines, including CNC servo turret punch presses of various capacities, plus punching and shearing machines. The metal-cutting division, started in 2006, offers automated twin-spindle CNC chuckers for automotive, hydraulic and bearing components.

The company offers turnkey solutions for turned and sheet-metal parts. These cover feasibility study, machine selection and cycle-time estimation from the component drawing, test cuts and proving out, re-tooling, and on-site operator and programming training. It has also begun localising Muratec turning machines on both the machine and application side.

The head office and Technology Centre are in Bangalore, with branch offices in Chennai and Delhi. The Technology Centre holds demonstration machines (MW series twin-spindle chuckers, Motorum turret punch presses with loader, servo press brakes) and serves as the base for spare parts, training and online or telephone support.
