Navdis was established in 1989 and builds shell core shooter machines for the Indian foundry industry. The company designs and develops its machines in India. It has added a second production unit with equipment sourced from several international manufacturers.
Its fully automatic shell core shooters use a PLC with a colour touch-screen HMI. Screen sizes of 4.3, 7, 10, 12 and 15 inches are available. The machines have an SSR-based heating system, which the company says saves 15 to 20% of power. They are built mostly from standard bought-out components. Special-purpose shell core shooters can be built on request.
Navdis describes itself as a single source for shell core die making, simple to complex tooling including design, and fully automatic shell core shooter machines. Its website also states it was the first manufacturer of green sand high pressure moulding machines (HPML) in India.
