Prakash Laser is the laser machine brand of the Prakash group, which began in 1994 as a maker of sheet-fed offset printing machines. The company added laser cutting and marking machines in 2013 and built its first metal-cutting laser machine in 2022. The Prakash group has also built pad printing machines since 2004 and ran a CNC unit from 2008.
The company says its machines are made in its own factory. It also lists a multi-disciplinary R&D team of laser specialists and electronic, mechanical and software engineers, plus a CNC infrastructure and design centre. Machines work on leather, wood, acrylic, fabric, paper, metal, glass and stone. They are used in the gifting, toy, electronics, signage, shoe and tools-and-gauges industries.
Support includes free sampling, installation guidance, operator training, spare parts and service. The company says it has installed machines in India and overseas, and it accepts distributor enquiries through its website.
