Overview

Prasad Koch-Technik Pvt. Ltd. is the plastic auxiliary equipment company within Prasad Group. It is a joint venture with Koch-Technik, Germany, formed in 1996 after a technical collaboration that began in 1995. It makes dosing, mixing, conveying and drying systems for plastics processors.

Prasad Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad and was incorporated in 1984. It states annual production of more than 2,500 units, 1,25,000 m2 of floor space, customers in over 60 export countries and 14 offices across India. Its stated philosophy is 'Economy through Automation'.

Other Prasad Group companies cover chillers and mould temperature controllers (with GWK, Germany), conveyor belts and part handling (with Crizaf, Italy), slow-speed granulators (with Moditec, France), bulk material handling for PVC and powders, and servo robots for injection moulding (with Wemo, Sweden).
