Pride Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd. was formed by a group of engineers with over 100 years of combined experience in machine tool design, interfacing, application engineering and servicing. It is based in the Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore. It reports more than 15 years of operation and over 2,800 installations of CNC turning centres, including VTLs. Many of these installations include indigenously developed automation.
The company's workshop in Peenya covers about 20,000 sq. ft. It has CNC horizontal machining centres (including twin pallet), CNC lathes, metrology equipment and four overhead cranes (10 T and 5 T) for assembling CNC turning centres and VMCs. The team includes 8 engineers across design, vendor development and application engineering/customer support, plus assembly workmen. The company says it began selling machines in February 2006.
Products are sold through channel partners across India. The CNC controls offered as standard or optional are Fanuc, Siemens or Mitsubishi.
