Overview

Ravisons Corporation has made tapping machines since 2003. It started with pneumatic arm tapping machines under the TapEasy brand. It later added hydraulic machines (2008) and servo electric machines (2010). Its CNC-based servo electric Tap Smart range arrived in 2017, and the Spiro brand in 2025.

The company describes its machines as import substitutes built on indigenous articulated-arm technology with a floating head. It reports more than 3,000 installations across India and a quality system that includes its own testing facility.

The Tap Smart flexible arm locates the hole centre and supports GO/NO-GO gauge-checked, perpendicular threads. A touch-screen panel sets tap size, pitch, depth and speed.
