Overview

SALOC Technologies Pvt Ltd began in 1990 as SCS Agencies, a local distributor of electric motors, brakes and brake motors, AC drives, switchgear, industrial automation, transmission products and power cables. It set up its head office on Mysore Road, Bangalore in 2006 and built a multi-level 25,000 sq ft warehouse in 2009. It serves customers across India and neighbouring countries.

The company is an authorised channel partner for brands including Siemens, Innomotics, BBL, ABB, Bonfiglioli, JK Fenner, Control Techniques, Baumer, Oli Vibro, WEG and Baldor. It has been an authorised SIMOLOG partner for Siemens SIMOTICS 1LE7 motors since 2022, and describes itself as the first such partner in India. SIMOLOG partners are certified for motor modifications and have access to modification kits, spare parts, training and Siemens support.

Saloc manufactures electromagnetic failsafe brakes and panels. It says more than 20,000 of its brakes are in use in automobile, construction and machine-tool applications. It customises motors for voltage, power, speed and torque, and can add brakes, gears and encoders. It says it dispatches most standard motor orders across India within 24 hours, subject to availability.
