Overview

SETIC & POURTIER designs and manufactures rotating machinery for producing power and data communication wires and cables. The group came from the merger of two specialised industrial firms. They merged in 2002.

The machine range covers bow, tubular, concentric, rigid, planetary and large double- and single-twist stranders, double/triple twist twinners and quadders, group twinners for LAN cable, bunchers, drum twisters, taping and armouring machines, pay-offs, take-ups and capstans. Applications include automotive, data, LAN, power, overhead, submarine, Milliken, robot, hybrid and industrial IoT cables. Turnkey and bespoke solutions are offered.

C2S, the group's services division created in 2014, provides spare parts, electrical control upgrades, maintenance, repair and rebuilding, commissioning, relocation, consulting and training. It handles equipment from other makers as well as its own. The company states it operates in 24 countries and has machines installed in 100 countries.
