Shoei Finishing Private Limited, earlier called Finishing Furnace Systems (India) Private Limited, was incorporated in 1992. It started by making furnaces, allied equipment and special-purpose equipment.
The company signed an agreement with Shoei Mfg. Co. Ltd., Japan in 2003-04 for engineering knowledge in aluminium melting and holding furnaces, and renamed itself Shoei Finishing. It also worked with Seco/Warwick Corporation, USA, from 1991 to 2001 on general heat-treatment furnaces.
Design and manufacturing take place at a 3,700 sq. m facility in Pune. The company builds furnaces for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and advanced composite materials. It also offers spares, maintenance and service support.
