Overview

SUMA has produced agitators for biogas, liquid manure and waste water since 1957. Its mixing solutions are also used in industry and agriculture. The company describes itself as an early developer of electric agitators.

SUMA India Agitator Technology Pvt. Ltd. is the group's subsidiary in India, based in Pune. It offers local supply of SUMA components, spare parts and service technicians for biogas plant operators across the country.

The range for biogas plants covers submersible motor agitators, long-axis (rod) agitators, central agitators and paddle agitators. The paddle agitators are offered together with Steverding Rührwerkstechnik. SUMA agitators are used in fermenters, secondary fermenters, repositories and pre-pits.
