Overview

Techmeta offers solutions across electron beam (EB) welding. It has more than 60 years of experience in complex welds and in designing and building special welding machines. It works worldwide with SMEs and large international customers in aerospace, research, nuclear, automotive and defence.

The group's machines are designed and built in France, in the Annecy area. They use an in-house 60 kV electron beam gun with indirect heating, which produces a cylindrical beam. Techmeta states that it invented the deflector for EB welding of cavities.

Beyond new machines, Techmeta supplies an after-market programme: technical assistance, original spare parts, preventive and corrective maintenance, retrofit and upgrade of older EB welding machines, training, and special services such as process development and calibration. Techmeta India Private Limited is the group's company at MG Road, Bengaluru.
