Overview

Yudo Hot Runner India Pvt. Ltd. is the Indian arm of the Yudo group, which specialises in hot runner systems. Hot runners are used in injection moulding to make plastic parts. The company opened a new 40,000 sq ft facility in Vasai, near Mumbai, in 2026. The facility is dedicated only to hot runner systems.

The Vasai plant is reported to raise domestic output from about 180–190 systems per month to nearly 400. It handles design, R&D, simulation, manufacturing, assembly and testing in one place. The company serves automotive, packaging, medical and PVC applications, and automotive is its largest segment.

Yudo is described as operating 24 plants across more than 45 countries, with nine global R&D centres, one of them in Vasai.
